Jan 19, 2012 SOPA should be "thrown out"
“After carefully studying this legislation, and hearing directly from many of my constituents about it, I believe that the Stop Online Piracy Act should be thrown out. We need to start over, with new legislation that fights back against online piracy while still preserving the freedom and flexibility of the internet. This is a critically important issue, and we need to make sure that we get it right. I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure that all sides of this argument are considered, and that the final legislation is a balanced approach to this complex issue.”
