Jan 18, 2012 Statement vowing to vote against SOPA
"Thank you all for the many calls today to #StopSOPA! I want you to know that I oppose #SOPA & will vote against it #p2"

Nov 28, 2011 Letter to constituent
"However, I am concerned about the scope of the bill, which I fear could result in unintended consequences. Under the current legislation, social media sites that allow users to upload content could be held accountable for any pirated content posted on the site, preventing millions of users from accessing other useful, legal content. I believe those users should be held accountable, not that an entire site should be shut down due to the actions of individual users."
